Agricultural Autonomous Robot - Applications and Future Scopes

Applications:- 

1. Agribot can be used as mechanized seed dropper used in farms with equidistant spacing between two seeds.

2. It can be used for gardening with the suitable plant layout being set as the pre-determined path for the Agribot.
3. It can be also used for dropping fertilizers in the field by reducing the period of handle forward and reverse operations. 
4. Seeds such as tomato seeds, oil seeds, watermelon seeds can be dropped using Agribot. 
 
Future Scopes:-
1 . Agribot could be operated through mobile.
2. Agribot could give the information of the land before farming.
3. Field soil and fertility can be tested by Agribot and according to that information, it could be decided which seed / farming to be done on the field.
4. The funnel diameter can be increased to accommodate more seeds and to sow seeds of larger surface area.
5. Instead of the bot stopping once the seeds are over because of IR-sensors, we can program it to signal the client by alarm or LED’s once the seeds have reached to an minimum level so as the task of sowing seeds wouldn’t stop.
 6. Arrangements can be made to reduce the manufacturing cost of the bot such that it could be afforded by the end-user i.e. farmer for agriculture.
7. Agribot can also be combined with other agricultural machines like tractors and harvesters to save energy and time.
