Wall Painting Robot - Block Diagram

1. Power supply unit – It consist of 12v, 3A power supply battery. The main function of this block is to provide necessary supply to all the circuit.

2. IR sensor unit – IR sensor unit consist of IR transmitter and IR receiver. Whenever  the  obstacle  comes  in front ,the signal  is  transmitted  to transmitter  and  then  transmitter  transmit  the signal  to  receiver  and  then  this  signal  is  given  to  control  unit.

3. Control Unit – control unit consist   of 89c51 micro-controller IC. This is the main block of the robot.  The  whole  working  of  the  robot  is  controlled  and  done  by  this  block.
4. Driver stage – Driving   stage   consist of L298 IC and wheels. It  has 4 input  pins ,2  input  pins  are  connected  2 wheels  and  another  2  are  connected  to  another  2  wheels. when we apply  power  supply  to  this  stage, IC will get activated  and  wheels  will  start  rotating.
5. Motor –Motor consist of dc motor, which are connected with wheel. The main function of this block is to drive the wheels.
6. Control  valve – control  valve  consist  of  pneumatic  valve, which  is  controlled  by  control  unit. The function of this block is to paint the wall.  The pressure  which  is  going  to  be  apply  is  controlled  by  controller.
